I WOULD LIKE YOU TO MEET
Made from a vintage Early's Whitney 4 Point Blanket.( for those of you that collect these highly collectible blankets this one was not in great shape. The edge was torn and there were holes in the middle so cutting it up and reusing it was a good thing.)
So I would like you to meet.
On the left, with dark indigo striped belly is -Early
In the middle, with 4 points on his belly is - Point
On the right, with red strip belly is -Whitney
They are blanket stitched with embroidery floss, stuffed with new stuffing. Owls are made from an original g.a.s. design.

Blooming In The Garden
Lilies blooming in the flower gardens this week. |
This is a new one this year. |
This one is also new. |
The weather has been very hot this week. There are so many forest fires in B.C., Alberta and Northern Saskatchewan. There is just a haze and the smell of smoke in the air. Ripped apart one of the back flower beds the treated landscape ties we put in a few years ago had already rotted. Also removed to Elder trees that the cats had used for a scratching post. There was no bark left on the bottom of the trees.Well this is all for this week.Linking up with www.tootsietime.com |

Bowling Ball Waterfall
awww.tootsietime.com
This is the waterfall at one end of the pond. |
This is a poured concrete pond that the deck sits on top of.When we poured the pond we didn't make shelves along the sides for the plants to sit at different levels.Big Mistake. It is about 3 to 4 feet deep. This year I made floating plant pots. Linking up with Tootsie Time,Fertilizer Friday,Flaunt Your Flowers. www.tootsietime.com |
