OWLS.One is never enough!!

It all started with one owl ornament. But one just wasn't enough. While stitching and stuffing the ideas started to roll. Now I wonder what they would look like if I designed my own pattern a little bigger?

Kind of cute. About 6x6.

Maybe I should make a new pattern. Bigger.

These are about 16in. tall x16in. wide at there wing span. Acrylic felt. Hand stitched, stuffed with poly fill.

I have given my friend the boot

A very dear friend of mine has been kind enough to find boots for me to paint.  While she has been out junking and such. So in return I gave her the boot.(s)

She had requested a black and white theme with ladybugs.

This is what the back yard looks like today.

This is the back yard last summer. It will look like this again soon. I hope. It has been a busy long winter. We were blessed with our first Grandchild in Nov. a baby boy. The end of Nov. I had knee replacement surgery.All is heeling very well. In Feb. we were again blessed with our second Grandchild another baby boy. All families are healthy and happy and doing great.As I sit here looking out the window it is yet again snowing.They say spring is around the corner.Which corner would that be? AAAHH soon I hope.

Have been way from the blog for awhile. At home recovering form a total knee replacement in late Nov.

I don't have any new art work to share with you right now.
