These zentangle inspired egg were finished in 2009, around Easter time. Not sure if they are chicken or duck eggs, but they were just as much fun to color as  the old fashioned way of coloring eggs.

It is only the 13th. of March. But feels like the end of May. Mother Nature is out doing herself. There are puddles of water and bits of grass showing along side the melting snow. I hope it stays this way we all know that the weather in Saskatchewan can change in a minutes time. Hope spring has sprung and is here to stay.

I miss you so much.
It is with great sadness today that I must say good bye. To the Best Friend anyone could ever have in there life. We were in business together, we laughed together,we cried together,we just got each other.

    11 Random things about me:

1. I am a certifided florist. Before we moved here. I co.owned a store.With my girlfriend, we sold fresh flowers, giftware and craft supplies.

2. I love to garden. We have 3 lots here filled with flowers and a pond.

3. I am a collector. Some would say a hoarder of the things I collect. I collect little boxes with lids, glass. wood , porcelain or any kind for that matter,and little shoes.

4. I am not a morning person. The only sunrises I usually see are because I have not gone to bed yet. I find I do more art and have more ideas at night.

5.I like to start my new art projects with a clean desk. Only to end up with a small sq. of working space about 10"x10".

6. I like all things vintage and retro.Love the hair styles,clothing and anything else from the 1940s. Reminds me of a much simpler time.

7. I am addicted to the art form of zentangles. I can sit for hours and hours working on a picture. Guess that is were watching the odd sunrise comes in.

8. I HATE to cook. I would much rather be doing important things like gardening or art. I will do the dishes if you cook for me.

9. I am a visual person. I have to see my art supplies.It helps the ideas to flow freely.Out of sight out of mind.

10. My favorite move is Fried Green Tomatoes. I watch it every chance I get.(tawonda)

11. I love garage sales, junk shops, flee markets, thrift stores and auctions. It is all about the hunt,all about the find.

Now on to the 3 questions asked by art bliss.

1. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?

My first answer would be. What didn't I do that got me into trouble?  lol not really!
It would have to be the time I was caught smoking in the girls room at school. Grade 10 I think. I still have the letter from the school board telling my parents I was kicked out of school for 3 days. AH yes we can laugh at that one now.

2. What sound do you love?

The sound I love to hear the most would have to be. The sound of the birds chirping at the feeders in the summer or winter.

3. If you could witness any event past or present or future what would it be?

This one is easy. I would have liked to have gone to WOODSTOCK 1969.  Just wasn't quite old enough to go. But did enjoy watching it on the big screen.
