Waiting,Waiting and Waiting.

This is what the back yard looks like today.

This is the back yard last summer. It will look like this again soon. I hope. It has been a busy long winter. We were blessed with our first Grandchild in Nov. a baby boy. The end of Nov. I had knee replacement surgery. All is heeling very well. In Feb. we were again blessed with our second Grandchild another baby boy. All families are healthy and happy and doing great. As I sit here looking out the window it is yet again snowing. They say spring is around the corner.Which corner would that be? AAAHH soon I hope.

The Good Witch,Bad Witch!

Wow almost the end of Oct.already. There is snow on the ground. The cold wind is howling.  Now weather the snow stays it is hard to say. If it does it will make for a very, very long winter. Hot or cold, snow or no snow the kids will be at the door for trick or treats Wednesday.  This pic was created a few years ago.Happy Halloween.    Original   g.a.s. design.

Old But Beautiful

One of many old homes along the back roads of Saskatchewan.
A peek inside, from the door way.
Well loved.
Well worn.
This last picture is of my Great Grandparent's home.
Driving down the many country roads in Saskatchewan you will see old homesteads. Large homes where families laughed and cried together, celebrated holidays and birthdays together. Where memories were made and still remembered. One can't help but wonder? Who lived there?  Who was there decorator?
